Westchester’s Richard Brodsky was elected as a state assemblyman the same year Mario Cuomo won his first term as governor. Here he describes Cuomo coming up to him and out of nowhere challenging to a game of one-on-one basketball, one of his favorite sports to play. Brodsky served in the assembly from 1983-2010.
