Explore a pedestrian walkway that links Olana with the Thomas Cole National Historic Site.

There’s a new link between the famous Hudson River School painters Thomas Cole and his student Frederic Church. This is a physical link that you can walk on – and it’s called the Hudson River Skywalk. The ‘skywalk’ is a pedestrian walkway that spans the Rip Van Winkle Bridge and connects directly to Olana in Columbia County, and the Thomas Cole National Historic Site in Greene County.
