Chinese calligraphy meets Westrern abstraction.
"In the process of making art, I realize I am a human being. And we are human beings. And we suffer the same." Yeachin Tsai learned traditional Chinese calligraphy growing up in Taiwan, and studied Western abstraction when she moved to New York almost 30 years ago. Her body of work is a unique blend of these two philosophies of art, creating a dance of energy, color, and form on canvas.
