For 60 years, the Kansas City Sports Commission has been making a better Kansas City through sports. This documentary chronicles its humble beginnings and its goal of keeping major league sports in Kansas City. The commission's efforts eventually saw Kansas City recognized as a world-class sports town and host of the largest sporting event in the world – the FIFA World Cup.
