The World's Smartest Lake
12/19/2018 | 6m 13sVideo has Closed Captions
We follow the team from RPI and IBM as they fix a weather sensor on Lake George.
Since 2013, a team of students and researchers from RPI and IBM have been designing and installing sensors on Lake George to study the lake's behavior and what effect environmental impacts (particularly human impacts) have on it. We took a ride on the lake, following researchers as they performed maintenance on one of their sensors, called a vertical profiler.
