Roots and Wisdom is a youth agriculture and community service program in Schenectady County that brings local teens together to grow organic vegetables for donation to local food pantries and for sale within the county. Students not only experience the food growth process from seed to harvest, but they also witness first-hand the impact the food they grow makes on the community.
